TRAINING POINTS
You are awarded 1 training point every 4th lvl from lvl 4 to lvl 20 then 1 point every 5th lvl from 20 to 60. Thats 5 points by lvl 20 and another 8 points by lvl 60. Additionally, there are zeke quests in every world that award you a training point for completion. These quests become available only wnen you are able to visit a world on your own (unlock the spiral door for that world) and not just by porting to a friend in that world. Points are used for spells outside yer primary school of magic. They are invaluable if you find you like (or love) PvP.
Therefore, if you havent finished yer main quests in WC, for example, you cannot unlock yer Zeke quest for KT because you cant use the spiral door to get to KT.
There is one exception to this, the Yardbirds Quest of GH. All you hafta do to get this quest is get all the WC smiths and do the Bear Market Quest in Olde Town in WC.
There were 3 train point quests in CL that you could do as long as you made lvl 52, 54 and 56 repectively with or without unlocking CL. These were given by Ogden Peake in the Base Camp. They are still available but as of a recent update near the end of summer of 2011, they have been fixed so you hafta do certain quests in CL before these will be available to you so lvling up quick will not get you these points anymore.
Here is a list of the Zeke Quests and the item locations for yer convenience. Unfortunately, unless you have someone to port you to some of them, you will simply hafta quest to them as they are either in dungeons you will need to be able to access or port into or they are in areas you cannot access without questing to them or porting into them (doh that was redundant).

INTERESTING FACT ABOUT THIS ZEKE QUEST (YARDBIRDS)- YOU CAN DO IT AT ANY LVL BUT ITS XP VALUE CHANGES DEPENDING ON WHEN YOU GET THE QUEST. IF YOU GET IT AT LVL 20 ITS WORTH ABOUT 2K XP (NOT MUCH XP AT THAT LVL). HOWEVER, IF YOU GET IT AT LVL 5 - 8 (yes , it's possible) YOU GET A FULL LVL OF XP (exactly enough to lvl 1 time). SO ALL YOU HAFTA DO IS FINISH THE SMITHS QUEST IN WC THEN DO THE BEAR MARKET QUEST (lvl 5 required) IN OLDE TOWN AND YOU CAN PORT TO A FRIEND IN GH AND HAVE THEM TAKE YOU TO THE BIRDS. THIS IS THE ONLY ZEKE QUEST YOU DONT HAFTA UNLOCK VIA QUESTING TO THE WORLD. BE VERY NICE TO YER FRIEND BECAUSE IF THEY ARE TAKING YOU TO ALL THESE BIRDS THEY ARE SAVING YOU A LOT OF TIME AND QUESTING. YOU CANT EVEN GET INTO SAVERSTAAD PASS ON YER OWN TILL LVL 20 AND RAVENSCAR TILL AFTER JOTUN (LVL 40).
Training points are invaluable if you find you like (or love) PvP.
